Thursday 14th July 2011I recently contemplated changing to 3 classes as both classes are full but an 11:30 class option didn't seem at all popular with the Mums so I'll stick at the 2 classes (10 o'clock and 11 o'clock) as always. I'm so happy that Tiny Tunes is so popular and it's great to see people returning with younger siblings (although it makes me feel old!)
Thursday 2nd December 2010Oh no, for the second time this year, the snow has interrupted Tiny Tunes!! Unfortunately, the Leisure Centre have decided to close on Thursday 2nd
December because of the snow. Sorry if anyone is inconvenienced. See you next
week for some Christmas songs! July 2010I am now so busy with my primary school commitments that I have decided to stop teaching the Mini Movers dance classes from September - I will however continue with Tiny Tunes as I love it so much! I will try to find another teacher to take over Mini Movers as it has always been very popular. I have really enjoyed taking these classes (the children were always so great) but I have no time left in my week!! Thursday 7th January 2010For the first time ever, Tiny Tunes is cancelled today as the Leisure Centre has had to close due to the bad snow! Sorry! Hopefully full service will resume next week! Refunds will be given. The 2nd class is completely full - please let me know if you would like a space and I will put you on the waiting list. Spaces should free up in September. I have to go to University on 3 Thursdays as part of my course (an extension
to my teaching degree - I’m studying to become an Early Years Professional)
I tried to get somebody to cover for me but nobody was mad enough!!
As you will see there are 3 Wednesdays included. If you cannot attend on
Wednesdays, please just pay a lesser amount. However, if you can come, the
Leisure Centre has kindly agreed to give you free entry to Toddler Bounce
on those days to say sorry for the inconvenience. November 2007Tiny Tunes is currently fully booked for the Autumn term - please phone me (tel:- 491441) to be put on the waiting list! April 2006In conjunction with Henfield Leisure Centre, I am starting a new class - called Mini Movers - on Friday afternoons. This will be a movement class incorporating dance, circle songs and general movement fun. August 05Tiny Tunes has now been running for 2 years - thank you to all of those who come and sing - hope you've had as much fun as me! January 05We have just received a donation from "The Bull" pizza pub - money from their Sunday children's raffle has been used to buy new (hopefully leak proof) cups and great new instruments. Thanks Shirley! August 04Tiny Tunes has now expanded to include teaching classes in local pre-schools. If you are interested in booking a class for your pre-school, please phone or email me. Tiny Tunes"Tiny Tunes" started on Thursday the 11th of September 2003 and has proved to be a popular class, so booking is now essential! I started the class because a local music group had closed down and, as a teacher and parent myself, I recognize that children gain so much from experiencing music at a young age. I am an experienced primary school teacher (qualified BEd (Hons) in 1990) and have also taught music to children with Special Needs. I am having an extended break from teaching until my two sons reach school age! My family and I moved to Henfield from Hove in the summer of 2002.
